Stitch Fix April 2015 #4
Oh how I enjoy my fixes each month!!! This is also a reason to spend some time with my Sweet Pea, Allee, for her to take the pictures, help me get them off my camera and all the other "techy" stuff I need help with! I need to get her to take pics when I wear the items out!
For those of you who do not know what Stitch Fix is, Let me try to explain. Of course the best way is to check out their website.
Stitch Fix is a styling company that you sign up for fill out the style profile and every month or however often you want a fix you are charged $20.00 and they send you 5 items to choose. If you keep any of the items you get the 20.00 styling fee towards your purchase. The best thing to do is try the items on and pair them up with the clothes in your closet! Then you know what you have to wear with each item. The worst thing is to find this great item and have nothing to wear with it!! Which is where my favorite part comes in and that is the styling card ideas!
It is all very neat and in the privacy of your own home. And if you love everything they send you- they reward you with a 25% discount off all the items. Sad that you only get the discount if you keep everything. And then there is this part - if you refer friends, then you get a 25.00 credit for your referral. Every shipment I write my stylist a note of what I am in need of. This shipment, which I am getting these once a month, I asked for bottoms. I would love some bottoms- shorts, pants, or capris what I did not say was that I do not care for crop length. I honestly, do not like capris either.

So Edna, my stylist, looked at my pinterest board labeled "stitch Fix" this is where I pin items I like so my stylist knows my style. I pinned a pair of hot pink cropped pants, not knowing how to note that I liked the color not the crop. So I received this pair of Light Pink cropped pants. These are incredibly soft, comfy and fit great. My problem is the crop length. At $108.00 for them I could not see keeping them and having to modify them. I left feed back I would keep IF they were a different length.
The Tuilp Sleeve blouse was a no from the box! If you remember my last box I also received a blouse similar to this! Yeah, this was a no for sure!!

Here are the pants again. I show this because Edna suggested these pants could be worn with all tops in the Fix. Now this shirt, I love this shirt and kept it! I brought it with me on my recent vacation and did not wear it!!

Here is the back. I love this shirt. I do not think I could of worn it with the pink pants. I personally did not think these went together!
I was thinking with black bottoms or jeans. You can see the styling ideas below of what they styled with this shirt!

I think you may guess I loved this shirt and already wore it on vacation with a pair of green shorts. I love this tank. It is so comfortable. I have gone back and forth on whether to wear a tank under encase I lean over. Don't want to show "my girls" off. That would be the only down fall is it does hang! Modesty is a must with me! Not to mention my hubby!

Overall, I think Edna did a good job. I have not requested a certain stylist. I was going to wait for a couple more fixes and see which stylist I think nails my style the best!!

I have my size as a Small and 4 bottoms if you are wondering about sizes. I did switch to an XS to see how the shirts would run. I ask for all loose fitting items and no skinny jeans.
