This is happening!

Thanksgiving break!  Awwww!

This momma's heart is leaping for joy! I love having all my sheep under one roof! I love when they are all home! I love when all four of my kids have a friend to hang out with! All too often one of the kids is home with Momma and Poppy while the other kids have friends to hang out with! Not that I complain I love the one on one time with the chick at home!

Tonight is the beginning of Thanksgiving break, this is the beginning of a great break! A time where we get to all be together! To share a meal or two together! Laugh together, throw napkin balls at each other! All the stuff we get to do together! Decorate for Christmas together, take pictures together, and eat lots of cookies together! I love this time of the year for many reasons!

Isn't it funny, how this time a year so many stores remind us to be thankful! Christ reminds us to be aliens and to not become part of this world. Yet, this time of the year everything blends! Every where you look you see "Be Thankful", "Thankfulness" and "Give Thanks". Not that I am against the message of being thankful, I love it! I ask, can we be reminded to be thankful every day of the year?

I am thankful for all I have! I am thankful for my family!  I am thankful every time I get the opportunity to have all my chicks under my roof! I love having them all here together! I love every opportunity to gather the sheep!

This time of year is one of my favorite, Summer is my other favorite time of year! Although this year has also brought to memory all the lasts with my Dad!

I think about the last time my Dad was at the hospital and he had all 6 of us kids all around his bed! I remember his eyes looking around at each of our faces, I can only imagine what he was thinking! That must have been the best thing for him to see!! I have not realized how special these times are to parents until here recently. The family gets together and Tyler is missing and I feel like something is missing! It's actually someone! Things seem a little strange without one of your chicks around! I know it has been 3 years since Tyler went to school, reality has hit this year with more than one in school! How fast the kids grow and how becoming the momma to adult children is becoming more of a reality! That means, I am getting old!!!

I am reminded that these opportunities to have all the chicks around are special times to be savored! I think I understand what my mom must feel to have us all around her. That only happens once in a blue moon!

I love my parents! ALL of them! My birth parents, my step parents, my in-law parents! They are all so precious to me!

The one thing I am reminded of daily is that none of this could be possible without my wonderful Hubby! The Father of my chicks! My best friend and love of my life!

Tyler's 21st birthday!
