It's a squirrel kind of day
Ever have these kind of days? Please tell me you have these kind of days! The kind of days "squirrel" kind of days.
Have you seen the movie "Up"? If not, this may not make sense!
The day where you really question where your brain is. Well, that was my day today. It really started last night when I thought my daughter was coming home at 10:30 pm. She was with a new group of friends, ones I had never met. Communication break down! It was 11:30, my brain had started spiraling down to a place it did not need to go and no daughter. I went up stairs to grab phone and call her and woke up hubby to see when she was suppose to be home. He says ever so calmly. "11:45". oh how I treasure my hubby's calmness. Oh my brain, it was on hyper speed, no can't calm it down now! Oh Lord, I have spent the last hour in Your word and my brain is still where it should not be! Needless to say, 1:30 AM and i still can't shut it down. Oh 7 AM is gonna come early. It's 3:30 AM wide awake - I said 7 not 3!!
It is now 7 something AM, I am up and ready to work out! We work out, and oh my I have to leave for study in less than an hour. Shower time. I get out and think how dry my legs have been, lotion one leg, lotion the other leg. WAIT - what is this? Could it be? What happened? I shaved one leg but humm not the other! So what do i do? Jump back in the shower? No, time! Throw on a pair of long pants and walk around all day knowing "I have one leg shaved!"
How can this be? Oh wait, did I wash my hair today? I can't remember! I think I did. I think I switched from shaving to washing my hair. Oh my!!
Do you have these days? You are making a recipe and "squirrel!" You are talking and "squirrel!" How about making lemonade and "squirrel" you forget the sugar!
You walk around all day with one leg shaved.
Please tell me I am not alone here! I am not the only one who starts something and does not finish! Or walks into a room 4 times before I remember why I am there.
Saturday, I went outside at least 4 times to ask Hubby about dinner plans and "squirrel!" It took almost an hour to see if he had plans for dinner. Glad no one was starving!!
